Their farms and homes are private property and visitors must refrain from trespassing. House and farm tours are available at Amish Farm and House, Old Windmill Farm, The Amish Experience, and The Amish Village. Several tour companies also have scheduled stops at farms, homes, and businesses, where you can see how the Amish live, work, and play firsthand.

Pennsylvania’s Amish Country is known for its beautiful landscapes of rolling hills and Amish farmland, as well as its slower pace of life and elements of the traditional Amish lifestyle, including transportation via horse and buggy, farming, and authentic Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine — like that found at many of our all-you-can-eat buffets.
